PROF. TS. DR. MOHD HAFIZ DZARFAN OTHMAN
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Hafiz Dzarfan Othman is a well-known figure in the membrane technology field and has more than 15 years of experience in the development of the membrane technology. He is currently an associate professor in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and the director of the Advanced Membrane Technology Research Centre (AMTEC) UTM. His research contributions include the development of inexpensive ceramic hollow fiber membranes from waste materials, innovative membrane technology for the water treatment and efficient energy generation. As an enthusiastic leading researcher, he holds some key positions in several national and international networks, including the Secretary General of Malaysia Membrane Society (MyMembrane), Board Member of Aseanian Membrane Society (AMS), and the committee of HICoE council. Having the strong sense of responsibility to contribute his research and knowledge to the society, he actively involved in several corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects by providing water filter system developed by AMTEC UTM for clean water supply in Pantai Senok, Kelantan under Translational Research Project (TR@M) and flood relief in Pekan, Pahang under New Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS) project.

ASSOC. PROF. TS. DR. JUHANA JAAFAR
Co-founder and Membrane Expert
Having devoted to membrane technology development for more than 15 years, Associate Professor Dr Juhana Jaafar has great experience in delivering efficient membrane solution to cater the customers’ demands. With her outstanding contribution in research, she has been selected as the Affiliate Membrane of Young Scientist Network-Academy Science Malaysia (YSN-ASM), Associate of the Academy Science Malaysia, and co-secretary of MyMembrane Society. Owing to her outstanding achievement in teaching and research, she has been selected as the first twenty of UTMShine recipients for the year of 2016 and still the member until present. She has also been listed in Who’s Who in the World for the 33rd Edition 2016.
ASSOC. PROF. DR. MUKHLIS A. RAHMAN
Co-Founder and Expert in Ceramic Membrane Development
Dr Mukhlis A Rahman is an associate professor in UTM and a leading researcher in the fabrication of ceramic hollow fiber membrane for water and gas separation applications. He has developed various innovative ceramic membrane for enhanced separation performance. In recognition of his success in research, he has been awarded MASS Young Scientist Special Award in 2018 by the Malaysian Solid State Science and Technology Society (MASS).
DR. MOHD HAFIZ PUTEH
Co-founder and Water and Wastewater Expert
Dr Mohd Hafiz Puteh has been serving UTM as a senior lecturer for more 10 years and currently acting as a program coordinator for Master of Environmental Management at the School of Civil Engineering, UTM. His research is mainly on the biological treatment of wastewater as well as the adsorption technology for water and wastewater. He has also involved in several consultation projects with government and private sectors specializing on wastewater treatment and environmental strategic planning.
